The Arts District in DTLA is a great place for wandering around on a sunny afternoon. There’s so many murals everywhere you can wander for hours. I’ve included a couple of examples of pieces I saw & loved, but there were seriously hundreds.
Anyway, all that walking is thirsty work! Luckily Al mapped in a hydration stop at Angel City Brewery. This a great spot to easily while a way a few hours. It’s a huge space, lots of beers on tap and games! I love board games.
If you’re there with someone (like Al) who needs all the rules, don’t worry they have them š I’m sure his tactic is to bore me and throw me off my winning streak while he reads all the rules to find ways to mess with me
Needless to say, I lost. Question; when did they supersize Trouble? I’m sure there’s way more going on with this game than there used to be!
After some more wandering we accidentally ended up at the rooftop bar at Ace Hotel. I love this roof top. Great views across the city, good tunes and of course, good wine.
